Description
The person in this position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and diagnosing the company’s light and heavy vehicles.
Required skills and qualifications:
- DEP in automotive mechanics, diesel mechanics or any other related field, or equivalent experience.
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Good knowledge of mechanical analysis software, particularly for interpreting and diagnosing error codes.
- Have a basic, complete and functional toolbox.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence; Class 1 is considered an asset.
- Fluency in French, advanced level.
- Fluency in English, functional level, allowing the reading of manuals available exclusively in English.
- Autonomy, thoroughness, ability to learn, speed of execution.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Comfortable in a changing environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Meeting deadlines.
